Kotarou wa Hitorigurashi S01

One day, 4-year-old Kotaro Sato visits his neighbor, Shin Karino, a manga artist, to say hello and gives him a gift of tissues. In Karino's eyes, Kotaro is a strange child who speaks extremely politely and lives alone in his home; there are no parents or relatives around him. However, Kotaro doesn't seem to care much or want to ask for help from others. Karino, whose heart aches for Kotaro's situation, decides to follow him to the public bath and realizes that the child isn't so different from him. Gradually, Karino and the other residents of the apartment complex become fond of Kotaro and his mischief. Meanwhile, Kotaro realizes that he has found something like a family among these special neighbors.
